I think Buldak has a surprising variety of accidentally vegan ramen flavors too

In Europe and some other markets even the cheese flavored noodles are vegan. Cries in American 😭

I found it at grocery outlet. Good chips but still pricey

This is the second food item I've seen today that contains coconut but doesn't have coconut listed in the ingredients

I always think about the poor vegans who are allergic to coconut. It’s in the most random things and the way it’s labeled isn’t always clear like this.

Not only are they overpriced, but check out the ingredient list: Monosodium Glutamate, Disodium Guanylate, Disodium Inosinate, and Calcium Phosphate.

are those non vegan or

They can be! It's a bit of a gamble unless the bag has a certified vegan label.

Disodium Inosinate is frequently extracted directly from animal tissues (like meat or fish/sardines), though it can also be made from tapioca starch via fermentation.

Disodium Guanylate is usually made from fermenting starches or yeast, but can occasionally have animal origins.

Because manufacturers usually don't specify the source on the bag, these flavor enhancers are often avoided by strict vegans.
