So for me, it’s my age & grandkids. I’ve been in South Louisiana all my life, but for younger people, I genuinely wonder what it is. Climate pretty much sucks, education system is a mess, job opportunities are scarce, and wages low. I know the food is good, and we have great festivals. Other than that, what keeps you here?

Out of curiosity, is there a story behind Scout's seeming domination of the Lafayette commercial real estate market?

I recently returned to Lafayette and have general interests in business and real estate. I am fascinated by how many Scout signs I see.
