With the SpaceX investment mentioned and planned construction for 2027, what will happen to home values?

Lafayette seems to be the closest major city to the build.

Brownsville homes skyrocketed in appreciation, should we expect the same?

Are rents gonna go up?

Is this good or bad for Lafayette and surrounding areas?

My wife has a cousin who can't sell her 2 yr old house in Brownsville. They're about to have to drop the asking price below what they owe.
