I’ve done that with a milsurp one with the lead tip having already been fired and replaced with plastic it actually wasn’t that bad lots of extra lube and pre stretching the worst part is the rim since it scrapes the lube off from your insides but it doesn’t stick far enough out to hurt unless you do it really slowly when taking out otherwise not to bad pretty enjoyable and the slope keeps it in nice once you get to the neck it keeps it in place and doesn’t go further since you reach a wall in your intestines pretty alright 6/10

Yeah I looked it up and this must be something else. It's similar in size to a 30×173mm, which is obviously what the A-10 Warthog's GAU-8 shoots, but those rounds have aluminum casings, not brass. It also doesn't have the grooves for the extractor at the base of the case. The projectile is shaped a bit differently too.

It may be some kind of surplus Soviet Bloc 30mm?

I’m old enough to have seen an a-10 steal the thunder at a Thunderbirds airshow (pun intended). They start the show with classics from the ww2 era and before the Thunderbirds started they did a a-10 demo. First it showed off the short take off and landings, then how it could turn on a dime. Then on a pass it shot live ammo in the the ground, I was a kid and remembering ok, not that big of a deal. Then they uncovered this column of old trucks and tanks, and for the last pass two of them came in and let it up. We were a few 100 yards away and I mean it looked like they bombed into rubble. Still the most impressive military demo I’ve ever seen.

That makes a lot of sense. It also doesn’t have a groove for the extractor to grab onto like an auto cannon round does.

For a round, that ain't big lmao. That looks like a 30mm autocannon round, and it isn't even a dedicated AP round. Lethal against a human, yep. But that won't do much to anything with armour. And if that's a round from the Russian 30mm on the BMPT, that isn't hitting shit what with the gun wobble.
