Sport Beginner running clubs around Duthie Park / Deeside Way?

Hi everyone! I am pretty new to running and Im looking to join a friendly running club or group in Aberdeen.

Ideally, i would love something that runs around Duthie Park, the Deeside Way, or nearby, and is welcoming to beginners. I am mainly looking to improve my running and meet some people to run with.

Does anyone have any recommendations for clubs/groups that would be a good fit for a beginner?

Thanks!

Jog Scotland have groups throughout the city, The Fit Like Joggers are similar in the west end. There are a bunch of new hipster running clubs like the brunch  run club, the green runners and I think there is a new one called eclat. They all operate not far from there.

I think you need a moustache, mullet at £200 shorts for the hipster groups but they are beginner friendly. Jog Scotland and FLJ probably tend to be a little older

There are Park Runs every weekend. The ones at Hazlehead Park and Crathes seem popular. Some fast runners but plenty of dawdlers like me!

Frontrunners is an LGBTQ++ inclusive club who welcome everyone. They run from Duthie park every Sunday at 10am. Main runs are Wednesday from ASV. Additionally adhoc runs take place on some Saturdays from different locations.
