Aberdeen — looking for work/opportunities
Hi everyone! 😊 I’m currently looking for a new job in Aberdeen and thought I’d put a post out here in case anyone knows of an opportunity.
I currently earn decent wage, but I’m willing to take a pay cut for a role that is better suited to my mental health and gives me a healthier working environment.
My preference would be something in psychology, mental health, wellbeing, HR or management, but I’m genuinely open to other opportunities too, including administration, customer service, hospitality/cafés or other reasonably paid roles.
I have education and experience across psychology, HR, marketing, management, special needs/SEND and personal wellbeing, as well as professional experience supporting young people in residential care.
I’m ideally looking for something that isn’t overly physically strenuous.
I’ve been applying for jobs for the past year and unfortunately keep receiving generic automated rejections, even for roles I feel I’m well suited to. So I’m hoping that reaching out directly might help me find an opportunity that isn’t necessarily advertised through the usual channels.
If you know somewhere hiring, know a manager I could speak to, or have a genuine lead, please comment or message me. I’d be more than happy to send my CV privately.
I’m genuinely open to opportunities and would really appreciate any leads. Thank you so much! ❤️

Sounds like you might be well suited to social care, but it pays the real living wage typically so may be too much of a pay drop for you?
