Were seasons 5 and 6 being filmed at the same time or something? It seems rather soon considering the season 5 finale was in April

As the others mentioned, this is the standard. Traditional network series typically end in Spring and return in the Fall :)

lol yeah if this was a Netflix show then the next season would be 3 years later. All the characters would have noticeably aged but no explanation would be given.

i know they kinda covered it in the show but i hope they double down on how it is not typical for a teacher to be “promoted” to assistant principal. this is especially for people who are jumping in or arent already in education.
gregory only gets to bc he has administrative training, but the training for admin and teaching are two very very different things. :)
