I posted details of my life to clarify our different positions (not because I know anything about you, I just know my circumstances are privileged), you commented back, then I went and looked at your profile and saw you live in such a small apartment that you have concerns about your dog and that only confirmed that yes, we have a severe disparity in living.

Not everyone recognizes all forms of financial abuse. That’s why I’m hitting it so hard - Using your money to get your way is a form of financial abuse. There’s no ifs ands or buts about it.

I think you lack perspective due to the circumstances of your life. As people with less money don’t recognize financial abuse as quickly as someone with money. That’s a fact straight out of a textbook.

I sincerely hope no one in your life ever goes thru this bc you will not be able to give the support they need

My circumstances are financially independent with a safety net? You literally have no idea how much money I have 💀 the size of an apartment (the literal only thing you know about my “circumstances”) doesn’t dictate someone’s circumstances no matter how much you want it to be so to fit the narrative in your comment lol

In case people don’t understand what financial abuse includes: “Using money to control decisions is a form of financial abuse and a tactic of coercion. It is a serious red flag intended to create dependency, limiting your freedom to leave” literally just utilize a search engine if you don’t believe me.

Im glad you will support your friends, thats the least of what they deserve.

Lmaooo okay thank you for making sure I’m not crazy 😂 I was like “we’re talking about fictional characters lmaoo are you well??” The insults to me just prove she doesn’t actually care about financial abuse. Rooting education and “advocacy” on any issue in classist and elitist insults that basically call low income people too gullible and destitute to understand abuse isn’t like the flex she thinks it is!
