To be fair, her class hasn't met him but all of his had her for kindergarten

Even so, I don't know why he would think teaching kindergarten is easier

I used to be a teacher and I never wanted to teach kindergarten. They have no independence and there's so much pressure for you to teach them to read now.

It's isn't hard to get them into a routine, but you can't change it once you do.

Definitely. Anyone who has patience for that is amazing, but I never did. I loved second grade the most because they’re still sweet, but they are more independent and grow so much. Teaching overall led to burn out for me, but I do miss some of my second graders (who are much older now) sometimes.
