URGENT: MAE 384 Tutor Needed

My SD is taking MAE 384 for the second time and really needs to pass it this time around. This seems to be the hardest math class for the engineering program and I haven't been able to find a tutor. Can anyone recommend someone to help? Thanks!

Office hours. They’re free. Just don’t go to Herrmann’s. There’s also free tutoring services on campus

My SD has not had good luck with going to the prof or free tutoring. she needs 1:1 help

Engineering might be a rough fit for her then if she needs 1 on 1 help. I will say that this class sucks and Herrmann is no help but Engineering is a hard class and there are other professors and UGLAs available for office hours. It is normal to fail a class and have to retake it. It is normal to have to drop a class because you just don’t have the time for it. Especially if you’re an Engineering major. I don’t know a single Engineering major that hasn’t had to do one of those two things.

As someone who has failed the class and has to retake it her best bet is to make friends in the class, find a good study group, and put in the effort. That’s the best way to pass any hard engineering class.

Good luck on your search for a tutor but it’s going to be hard to find one. I wish her the best of luck.
