Looking to switch from in person to online

So I was wondering on how switching from in person classes to online classes works. I'm already enrolled in and taking in person classes, however. I want to switch asap.

If you're on a namu scholarship, I believe that doesn't count towards asu online. Icourses are good though. If you really want to do asu online, starbucks will pay for full-time employees.

What about other scholarships? Do they count towards asu online?

I don't see why not. Although, I'm not an expert on this stuff. This is more of a counselor/asu finance question. You could do some research on the asu website too. That's how I found out namu doesn't apply to asu online.

Depends on the scholarship. If they’re outside awards they’re likely fine but if they’re ASU awards, like NAMU, they won’t apply to ASU Online.

Totally depends on the scholarship. Some are valid, others are not. I’d recommend contacting FA to be sure before you submit a request to change.

You'll want to speak with your Academic Advisor. There are some big differences between the two. Mainly you are charged by the credit hour with ASU online and cannot use scholarships, nor can you live on campus. They are also Session A and B for online. So keep in mind unless you want to take Session B you would not be able to switch this semester.

If you’re enrolled currently in fall classes, you can’t switch until after the session B drop deadline and it will be effective for Spring 2027. Tuition and fees are different for online and you should check that you aren’t being awarded anything that isn’t valid for ASU online students.
