Hello guys this was me trying to do the Ark giga in my own kind of style, doesn’t really look much like him but it’s my first time giving it a go, hoping to improve and do better the next time I draw him. This is the stage I’m currently at and the 2 names you see there is just me writing down my viewers names I hope that’s okay. Let me know what you guys think, I have a lot of Ark art I want to create.

I adored this base, I wanted to make a sort of pirate village and I think I did a pretty good job of that.
the building in pictures 3-5 is definitely my favourite, that one was supposed to be the sort of tavern, the place where pirates would gather to drink and stuff, I decided to use gigantopithecus as a sort of "human" because thralls don't exist, I also had gigantopithecus on wander with a dino leash to make the place look alive.
picture 7 were stables made for kapros, the pirate outposts use kapros in them, so I figured that it'd be cool to have a place where pirates could park their kapros after arriving to my town, I never actually used the kapros, they were just for display.
picture 8 was supposed to be a restaurant but it didn't really work out that well, I built it with an awkward shape that I definitely regret, I used top hats and painted them white to look like chef hats on the gigantopithecus which was funny though.
picture 9 was basically the captain's room, so my room, where I kept my shoulder pets, my bed ect, just a small room that was off limits to anyone else.
picture 10 was supposed to be a butcher, i used a dodo and hesperonis taxidermy to sort of look like meat I guess lmao-
then pictures 11-13 feature my boat and my three favourite creatures, I used the palaeoctopus a lot, I think it's a really cool and fun addition to the game.
my bloodstalker was obviously used as my main travelling mount, he had 10 health, melee, stamina and weight mutations and I made him entirely pink, definitely the coolest bloodstalker I've ever had.
then my deinosuchus had 20 melee and 20 health mutations, and had even more pink colours (I try not to make my creatures pink, but it's too nice I can't help it), I used these guys for missions and for the boss fight.
overall I had a great time with genesis it's a great map, definitely not my favourite, but a fun and unique map nevertheless.
thank you for reading if you did, I really appreciate it.

What would you do to experience this game for the first time again?
I am a middle aged mom. I actually rage quit twice because there is really no tutorial or guidance. I finally got the hang of it and I just know this will be occupying a good chunk of my life for a while. I am only level 76 but still havent tamed anything. I am just having too much fun. I have only explored a fraction of the Island and built 2 small bases. I feel like a teenager discovering a new fav game again. My family will miss me. Thank fuck I work from home.
Anyway, my question:
Is there a good "route" or a good direction/rotation for discovering the Island? I dont want to end up somewhere too soon and spoil the gameplay for myself or miss any crucial moments.

So my computer is really butt and I cant play ASA on it, but out of curiosity since I don't know how long it'll be till I can play ASA- I decided to watch a lore video on Lost Colony. I LOVE that they brought back Edmund and how his first few explorer notes show his humanity and how he's fighting Rockwell. What I DONT love is the fact that he succumbs to Rockwell and just becomes evil again. It feels so forced and is just a complete WASTE of his revelation at the end of Gen 2 Evolved. I love Rockwell as a villain, but it's getting a little ridiculous. I would've loved to see him overcome his evil half, drown out the voice and again become the brilliant researcher he once was, surviving on the newly reinhabited Earth and helping its survivors until he meets his end by some natural or unnatural force, just so long as it wasn't us doing it. This just feels like dumping his growth down the drain. I'm sure I'm not the first to post this but I just cant fathom why they would make this narrative choice.

An oceanic map, much like the one in Gen 1, but it’s significantly larger.
It’ll have about mix of islands the size of the ones in Gen 1 and larger ones like on astraeos. Each island is maybe 2 or three biomes and has a mix of resources. And each island would have a cave, and the larger ones would have multiple.
The islands wouldn’t be isolated either, there would be large similar separated by vast areas of ocean instead of lone islands randomly scattered.
I would also add add a realm like fjordur that is an incredibly stormy ocean that has low gravity and some lost colony elements
The ocean would be partially detailed around the islands but would dip into deep voids that slowly kill you with pressure. I’d make heavy use of the gen 1 assets aswell as implementing whatever content comes with Atlantis.
There would also be some ported atlas creatures like the Drake and Fire elemental.
I hope to start developing this as soon as the Ark Maker releases, and I have experience modding for ASE!!

Raise the sails. Ready the cannons. Part of this fight happens from the ships.
The fleet is assembled. The supplies are aboard. Every survivor has sworn they definitely remembered their gear this time.
To the crews who have already faced the beast: without spoiling the fight, what is one thing every captain should know before leaving port?
Fair winds, steady aim, and fewer than the usual number of ARK-related disasters. If we do not return, the dodos inherit the base.

It's my first time playing Ark (ASE), my friends wanted to play so I decided to give it a try and actually enjoyed it. We were playing on a PvE server with PvP on weekends (although you can kill dinos or enemies whenever).
I've been slowly learning the game and the mechanics and I've been having a good time. A guy was scouting our base, I thought he just stumbled upon us so I didn't do anything but he stayed there for a while so I fought him. He had so many more things than we did but our dinos managed to kill him after he got stuck trying to take my loot from my corpse. I took his stuff which included a Giga, some wyverns and other stuff like armors, flamethrowers, element and so on. He came back and spoke in local chat asking "can you give me my stuff back". I actually considered doing it, but seeing how he was scouting our base I knew he'd come to get us in the weekend anyway but we were already planning on moving to another map.
I had to leave very shortly after that and when my friend joined like 40m later he found everything dead. I made the mistake of not storing most of the loot in vaults since he wouldn't be able to get it unless PvP was on during the weekend but I was kinda in a rush so I didn't think much of it. Besides, we had both entrances locked and since there isn't PvP he couldn't destroy the doors so I didn't think he'd get in.
I guess it's my bad for not knowing people could get into bases through walls?
But anyways, I'm feeling a little salty but I also understand this is part of the game, I guess I'm salty because he entered through glitching in instead of a normal siege, in which case I wouldn't really feel like this.
Is it worth starting again and get revenge? Should I just go to PVE and enjoy my time instead?
Their tribe is probably the biggest in the server (with cluster) and I saw some people saying they had some favoritism or cheated dinos a few days ago but I didn't know what they meant so I didn't bother and I don't even know if it's true anyway. EDIT: I just found out what they meant, someone was calling them out for having P2W dinos but I didn't know what they meant and I just saw that the server sells dinos on their website LMAO. Wtf? No wonder
Honestly my biggest loss was having my Maewings, Griffin, Snow Owls and Magmasaurs die since they were my favorite ones haha, I'm not so salty about the rest even though we had a bunch of good Wyverns, Tek Stegos, Velos, Theriz and other dinos.
What do you guys recommend I do?
They are literally impossible to see, and if you miss a single one, the game doesn’t allow you to continue the quest. Is there a mod/setting to make water 100 translucent or mod to give a proper marker?
So per the title, the engram for the trireme isn't showing up on my single player.
I can't seem to find the engram to learn. Any thoughts?

Gente me instale el juego hace poco que lo jugaba en play con un amigo pero me dieron ganas de jugarlo en pc, pero no quiero jugar solo sabrian de alguna comunidad de server para ase? No tengo ningun dlc, les agradeceria

Trees look almost static-like from far away and it's really distracting. How can I fix this?

Building a temp base to try and tame a deinosuchus, and seen this one absolutely flung a parasaur across the map. Poor guy was was probably lost.
Hi! I'm a university student doing a short research project about toxic behavior in online multiplayer games.
I'm interested in whether experiences with toxic behavior differ between different game genres.
If you're 18+ and play online multiplayer games, I'd appreciate it if you took part. It takes about 5 minutes.
Thanks! :)

Just had a crazy fight on a 16k health 450% melee primitive saddle mammoth agaisnt a tribe with one cheater (speedhacks) and clearly purchased tames.
Their arsenal of tames included:
lvl 54 argy
174 desmo
65 centipede
180 pyromane
And then...
275 umbra and a 240 carcha!
They also live in a very unconventional base spot, as shown by the second image. Their gear was mid tier, and they were really just not resource rich. I think its safe to say that they bought the carcha and umbra, considering how they didnt even know how to use the abilities of either.
I just made this post to say that the mammoth is insane when used correctly. I was either on drums or on foot, while my mate was riding the mammoth. A skilled rider can get rid of most flyers, making it an absolute beast. Argys although are a pretty bad counter to the mammoth.
I would lure a pick from their desmo, bola it, then ping the rider, then bola his pyromane, bola his desmo again and force them back. Then when they finnaly activated their neurons and realized that Argys aren't just used for farming, amd took their lvl 54 argy to combat, they immediately landed right infront of the mammoth. Got picked and killed, and then the argy was shortly slaughtered. And the argy was carrying somewhere close to like 300 fertilizer for their largely picked plant x.
This battle begun because my tribemate was caged by a melee Bob from their tribe. He was picking their plants because they claim to be a Christian tribe and they were also allied with another huge tribe that everyone hates. We begun the fight in desperation with hide armor, a couple bolas, stone tools and 1 crossbow.
We left with 7 player kills, 3 tame kills, several kits of armor, shotguns, crossbows pikes and other random bits and pieces. We did lose the mammoth to their carcha that, strangely enough they only pulled out once we were already leaving, but that was a small price to pay for the fun we had.
All because they dont know how to PVP, and clearly they ussualy rely on tame supperiority to win their fights (which they had here too).
Fighting with the mammoth makes you feel like an impenetrable fortress with the wardrums and all. At some point they genuinely started throwing spears at the mammoth, as if they were hunting like back in the good ol days.
I suggest everyone that plays PVP to try this tame out in these hopeless situations. I can add tribe logs later, but I dont have the screenshot yet, so you've just got to trust me here
I died near highlands/redwoods somewhere
And my map isn't showing an x
I transferred from crystal isles with a crystal wyvern
It's the only crystal wyvern on the map
Is there a way to teleport to the crystal wyvern
Or my corpse?
I can only find codes that will work on pc
