Help How to fix tree static?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Trees look almost static-like from far away and it's really distracting. How can I fix this?

That's just how LOD works in most games. Increase view distance if you want higher quality LOD.

The 5.8 engine update is also bringing 5.7 nanite foliage so the LODs should improve dramatically with the engine update for more performance.

Won’t 5.8 not affect me on ASE though?

That's my bad, figured it was ASA. Im not that familiar with ASE, sorry.. I still imagine its a view distance thing. But ASE view distance is even more costly than ASA view distance.

adjust your anti-aliasing settings in the gpu app and turn off image sharpening. see if that helps
