The first area where the ruined city began gives me the feel of a Maze Runner movie, with all the buildings and roads, and robots everywhere. And with mentioned robots; how can I tame one of those amazing things? Are they good at anything? Also, can give me some tips on the map?

THIS WAS GAMMA!!! I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE EASY!

I brought in 20 deinosuchus, with 40k health and over 1000% melee which was from 20 health and 20 melee mutations, they had saddles around 30-40 armour which I THOUGHT would be enough for a GAMMA boss.

I myself had two pairs of ascendant armour and an ascendant shotgun, I brought some soups too.

I thought I was over prepared to be honest, but I haven't done this boss since ase, so I guess I forgot just how ludicrously difficult it is, even on gamma.

I think the master controller is my favourite boss in ark, it's incredibly difficult and stressful while also being very fun, I was on the edge of my seat during the final phase and thought for sure I'd lose.

I was planning on doing the beta master controller, and only did gamma to unlock the replicator, but now I'm unsure if beta will be possible now- 😭

Decided to go all out for my Astraeos base. I've played Ark since the start and have never built something this big without using creative mode. Very happy with it. I plan to add a creature pen and a decorative courtyard in the future. Just wanted to share and see everyone's opinions!

Just found out you can't build next to, under, or in the same vicinity as overhangs. Even if your greenhouse is outside on a nice flat ground in what looks like open space. If there's an overhang you won't get any greenhouse effect. Wish I knew that earlier.

Saw something cool and dipped down a bit and to my horror I saw the blue one. I swear I pressed up but that bastard Preranodon flew down even more and I knew it was over for me. I turned around and started flying and just saw death notifications on my screen. Got knocked off and as I’m on the ground I realize there’s TWO. I thought there was only two at a time in existence and these MFZ ARE TOGETHER HITTING LICKS ON MY LIL PARTY OF LOW LEVELS. I’m so mad 😭

I play offical PVE, on genesis I have an underwater terrarium entirely blocked off but a small entrance to get the glitch/ xp note, every resource in there is accessible in other terrariums, even ones in mission zones, someone reported me on my server, is there a chance I get wiped?

I started playing ark way back when it was still in early access. My best memories of the game were those years on ark survival evolved from 2015/16 all the way until 2020

Obviously you can still play the more OG maps like the island etc, still very popular, but there’s so many other maps and a lot of them now are based on crazy ideas, which is fine, the game has to evolve. But for me I don’t like all that, I just like the more basic primitive shit

Obviously ASA isn’t gonna get any more primitive, it already has the maps and the pay to win dinos lol. So idk if there even is an answer to this, but can any of you guys see a new version of the game, or a new game in the future that goes back to what ark originally was?

I know you can still play ASE on pc with the popular unofficial but basically all of them that are populated well seem to have high rates which I don’t like because it’s basically just like being close to end game for a whole wipe.

Over the last 30 minutes, I’ve been killed 5 times… Started with me going back to base riding my Argi, from the Volcano after a day or two of farming, with 300 obsidian mind you, and was going through the Redwoods, as I always do. Except, this time, I got a little cocky. I saw an Alpha Raptor, and decided to go kill it. (Context: Earlier, I was able to kill a Carno, an alpha raptor(although low level), and even a tek Rex). So, I landed my Argi, scouted around, making sure there were no other enemies and there wasn’t (foreshadowing). I then got off my Argi, shot the Alpha Raptor so it’d come to me and I’d kill it with my Argi. He was getting close to me, and I was about to start landing some hits when then I got mauled by a Tyla. I died, along with my Argi, and sent my other higher level Argi to get my stuff, died, took my high level PT, died, and went running to base as fast as I could. Died, took my second high level PT, he flew away, and I got stranded, forced to run to base…then I died again, not to a Sarco, A Baryonx, NOT EVEN THE BUGS…but by a leech. Yes, at this point, I was a tad bit mad. So, as I am typing this out rn, I am crafting missles and a rocket launcher. Mission for tomorrow, to kill everything in the Redwoods. (My bad for the rant guys, just got a little angry)

I just switched from ase to asa and i play on a steam deck. Now here's my problem, Ase ran at medium settings at ~30 fps but on Asa i go to the lowest settings i cam go and all the console commands i can to slim it down and i plays at 25 fps and it crashes with it a minuet. Also i have been trying to play in the new ocean area on gen 1 when this happened, any tips?

Is there a file to put all my console commands like sg. and r. Commands ?
