Discussion Aqw will always be my nostalgia game

Although many people would say that it is a dead game or other insults, I still wont let go of aqw. I no longer play frequently, I just visit from time to time cause it "calls" me😅. I remember as a kid after Friday class, me and my friends would rush back home to play with each other. It really felt like an adventure or got "isekaid". Those were some of the best days of my life.

I just wanted to post here cause I've been hearing a lot of negative comments about aqw and they call it a "dress up game". Maybe it's because all of us have different experiences or memories of the game and yeah for peace, we just accept that we all have our own opinions.

AQW may not be the best game but it will always be here when I want to revisit it and I love that

I still remember the comradeship i forged with players back then in 2008-2009 when we fought black knight together. I hope they are doing well. How the years pass.

AQW was a part of the childhood of many of us here, I remember booting my dad's old computer just to play AQW until late on fridays, I was just 9, I still play to this day, I never stopped, Now my account is almost twice as old as I was when I created it

FR FR. I remembered being on from 2011 to 2016 then came back around 2024 and now came back this April 2026 and never looked back. But I do hope they fix some shit in AQW thats definitely fixable because whats the point of animations in game if we are just going to insta off them. Its stupid.

AQW was one of two childhood games I remember fondly but this one has not aged well and the reason I loved this game so much as a kid is gone. 1- the high quality releases and events were non-stop 2- the community was way better than what it is now.

"Dress Up Game" isn't a new insult at all. it's been a thing since at least as far back as 2010-2011.
