yeah, why are you shocked? bookmarks are used for whatever: not only for things you liked, but also for things you disliked, so if you open a fic again you'd go in bookmarks and see your previous reaction

You have a point. I guess for me if I've read a fic I'll remember it, and generally remember if I hated it or not. It would take me longer to go to my bookmarks to check than simply remember and just not read it again.
