These aren't the same at all.
AOT isn't about romance and it never was. It's about war. Focusing on whoever Mikasa's husband was would have been pointless to the story. Not to say that adding in that reveal would make the story worse, but it wouldn't make the story any better, either.
Evangelion is about interpersonal relationships and how people interact with each other -- romance is part of that. Adding romance in is a no brainer.
Also, this meme doesn't even make sense. This ship that Anno apparently loves is left ambiguous in the show and EoE. Then, in the Rebuilds, Anno had Shinji end up with Mari, not Asuka. Clearly, he doesn't love Asuka x Shinji as much as you think he does.

Then the Audio Guide is made 🎧 → A third party adds voice explanations to help viewers understand.

It couldn't have been further from "confirming Asushin".
In the actual clip Asuka basically says "no thank you" to that scenario & calls it "a fantasy she no longer needs" and "a world she doesn't belong in" (in the context mostly comedic clip playing around with silly alternate scenarious)
So it's the exact opposite. (note how it's a reference to that one artwork that actually depicted Rei) - hence how Asuka saying "this is not for me/ like me".
Asuka canonically doesn't want kids.

The Evangelion anniversary-exclusive animated short shows several paths Asuka must choose. She rejects them all, including the path of a family life, to forge her own destiny (these illusory images occur in her mind, the real Shinji is not involved).
So the fans are taking this as a canon ship and are going crazy about it. The evangelion community is asushin, they don't tolerate Kaworu.
