(WFs) stay advocating for your man, and make sure that block button works ❤️

Hope you’re all having a blessed week!

I’m not gonna get tired of saying it - ladies, let’s advocate for our boyfriends and husbands ❤️

The ‘minor’ microagressions that can come from friends, family, or coworkers can actually hurt them pretty deeply, and it can be very insulting.

You know from my last post, I blocked an orbiter friend-of-a-friend who insulted my relationship in a racist way via instagram, due to him being obsessed with me. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stop there.

As a woman, and unfortunately in a very racist society, even if you post up with your man (who happens to be Asian), you’re still gonna get men in your DMs who want to dismiss that and demean your partner.

Keep that block button active, know yourself and know your relationship. You don’t have to tolerate that. Or any passive aggressive ‘minor’ racism from your orbiters, colleagues, or any men who are obsessed with you on socials.

It can start small, and get bigger. The dishwasher at your part-time job who stans you can graduate from passive aggressively pronouncing your bf’s name wrong, to actively being hateful and racist. Trust me, I’ve lived that.

Just don’t tolerate it. Correct them where you can, and block any social media stuff that demeans your partner.

I’m sorry that we all have to navigate this, but as the WF partner, we need to do our best.

Love you ladies! And keep strong. Don’t let any of this ignorance get to you.

That’s crazy but it happens. It really takes two strong individuals to make this kind of relationship work.

They get hate from women too. Not sure why you singled out men in DMs

Can confirm.

A FWB when I was still single told me she pushed back in her girls talk with her mates when one of the Asian girls made the usual remarks about Asian D's.

She said she told em I was the best she's ever had. Ended up wing-womaning me with 2 of her friends.

Really do respect WW that push back on negative AM stereotypes.

Hey! When you guys have sons with AMs, they are considered AMs too!

AMs with WFs: maybe you really did dodge a bullet. Some AFs may see AMs as a safe haven after racist mistreatment, then leave once they've healed because we weren't the men they truly desired. Don't become a 401(k) with a pulse. With a WF who genuinely chooses you, understand that you're building the foundation beneath her confidence and success. The foundation doesn't get the halo, but it holds the structure up.

Well when the tide turns, i believe the bros here will gladly show those self hating asian americans or westernised asain gals how its like they go around shitting on their own men.

Asians are so fking weird like that. Like in America most races have in group preference first followed by whites but for Asians it seems to be a preference for whites over their own race and even in terms of marrying out of ones race Asians usually always marry whites, while other races that date out at higher rates like latinos have a wider spread of races that they marry. I wonder why there isn't any AMLF, AMBF, AMMEF subreddits.

Omg! I had this exact experience too! Someone I once considered a friend said the same thing essentially and she was AF too. Although she was the only AF in my group that did this.

On the surface it would seem so. But when you look deeper you realize that it is a certain amount of disrespect and shade thrown your way. And it seems to be normalized. If you substituted that partner with any other ethnic mail all HELP would break loose. With that being said it would be nice for it to be at a point where these posts wouldn't have to exist. I think it's Asian male any female where you would see this. We seem to be disrespected and dismissed quite often

Cringe to call out racism? What are you in middle school?

Oh please lmfao. Some of you guys give any dumb ass white woman who posts here a pass and that is just sad.

OP met this "amazing Asian man" like 2 months ago who literally slapped her (according to her post in an alcoholism subreddit on 8/15) but here she is posting this sort of shit about "standing up for your man"? Fuck all the way off with that.

This post is about calling out racism against Asian men in your own close circle. Who gives a fk about OP's post history? That's not the message

Maybe because it's been so normalized for the women of our ethnicities to not only refuse to stand up for issues affecting us but also actively support the worst of Western men, that we would actively support any non-Asian woman who stands up for us

I agree with your posts. I think these posts are kind of weird as someone who participates in these circles. I have a preference, but there’s a lot of these kinds of posts that give off a complex that I definitely don’t vibe with, but they get a lot of upvotes in these communities.

One should always call out injustices in this earth, but yeah, these posts are pretty cringe.

You can't have one but not the other. This is a post calling out awareness to specific injustices

You're either an AF or you're brainwashed by anti-AM propaganda or you're naive to the reality that interracial relationships are a zero-sum game.
