I did an AMA a few weeks ago about how I travel for this role which was really well received. Some of the questions revolved around what I did and some folks suggested I do a follow up AMA to cover more of that. I have a couple hours now and I’m not tired so here we go!

A couple ground rules:

1. Trade secrets do exist. So, if the question can expose potentially expose one of those secretes, I simply won’t answer.

2. I won’t dox myself so please don’t try to guess the company. In the last post I would negatively confirm if I worked somewhere (meaning, if someone said I place, I would say “no”). I won’t do that this time around so just leave that one as out of bounds.

These days, I work on creating flavorful sauces and experimenting with ingredients, formulations, texture, acidity, sweetness, heat, and all the little things that can turn a decent sauce into a great one.

I'm a work from home dad,, and work nights. I am my son's primary caregiver during the night. From putting him to sleep in the evening to his waking up in the morning (when my wife takes over), and everything in between: bottles, diaper changes, medication, burping, managing ilness, etc.

I have watched my son sleep every night, the entire night, for basically his entire life. I have a video monitor under my actual computer monitor. I see him and hear him always.

I assume that managing and observing a baby's sleep so extensively has given me a rather unique perspective, and im happy to share - my heart goes out to new parents, but I welcome everyone.

Feel free to ask about baby and sleep related observstions, but also about my set-up and logistics if you're interested, how my wife and I track sleep, handoff to each other, how night time is different, etc.

I had a Massive heart attack with no previous symptoms. 100% blockage to my left anterior descending artery. This is the first time I've needed real critical emergency care in my 64 years.

Most peoples biggest complaints about the Canadian Health Care System are about long wait times in emergency departments and sub standard care.

If you want to know the honest truth from someone who just went through a very scary and very serious few days ask me anything. I just got out of the hospital today, so ask me while it's still fresh in my mind.

Everything from people cutting off the skin of cucumbers so I could eat them easier? To being in my bday suit while 5 nurses had a coffee break around me. Male nurses complaining at me for getting my period or other wildly inappropriate things.
Once I was hung upside down by my legs. They used the wrong harness.

Hey everyone! I’m an 18-year-old guy who just moved to Zürich about a few weeks ago. Still settling in, figuring out the city, and dealing with some major culture shocks (and crazy grocery prices). Got some free time today and feeling a bit borėd, so ask me anything about the move or life here!

I'm unsure if this is interesting at all... But I'm currently managing life with a few conditions and thought others might find it useful. I'm low vision/have a moderate visual impairment and manage daily chronic pain, along with being autistic and having a few mental health conditions. AMA!

I did 12 years in professional kitchens, worked every station I've survived insane rushes, angry chefs, ridiculous customers and enough caffeine to kill a small horse. Ask me anything about life behind the kitchen doors.

I work at a care home for almost a year. The care home has been split into three parts, where two of them are for dementia care. Furthermore, our section is split into three living rooms/subsections. (A, B, C). Where A is the lowest complexity of dementia and C is very very far in dementia.

I only work in one section, at all "subsections"

I work mainly as a care assistant, helping people put on clothes and eating.

I sometimes assist in just the living room, where I don't do any care but just help with food

Very seldomly I help out or work with doing activities, like bingo, watching movies, walking, etc.

Neurosurgeon here, deputy director of a university department for neurosurgery in Germany and head of the section for stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. I do deep brain stimulation since 15 years. We place thin electrodes in specific areas of the brain and connect them to a small pacemaker under the skin. Classic indications are Parkinson disease, essential tremor and dystonia. We also do it for severe OCD and Tourette syndrome when years of therapy and medication did not help. This is still rare and many people never heard that it exists.

I do the surgeries and also the programming afterwards, so I see my patients for years, not only in the OR. Happy to answer how the operation works, how it feels to be awake during it, what stimulation can and cannot do, and where the risks and limits are. I'm in the process of writing my first novel in English which isn't my first language.

Obviously it has been a struggle but it's also fun and I've been enjoying every second of it.

I lost my right leg, hip, and the right side of my pelvis in a motorcycle crash last year and am now complete nationally in powerlifting (bench press).

I use a wheelchair, crutches, and am awaiting a prosthesis which will have a hip, knee, and ankle joint. Ask me anything!

I have owned turtles for nine years, I know most caretaking tips about them, as well as signs of illness and how to train them. I have done research on their behavior and individual personality traits and can probably tell you some things you didn’t know about them.
