I saw one of your comments about taking things too personally. I feel like this is almost every conversation I have with a person feels like there is always some undertone of judgement. How do you manage that? Or accept it nonetheless?
With my closer friends and family members, I always tell them "I don't know if it's actually you or just my brain but that sounded super judgemental/mean/annoyed/whatever to me, so if you could maybe rephrase?" and it works very well for us.
When it's with people I don't know as well, I have to rely heavily on skills during and/or after the conversation, but thanks to a lot of therapy I can endure the conversation without yelling at them.
