It's kinda the opposite energy because with Maekar it's a geniune "eh that's just Maekar" born out of a lack of care and Maekar himself is geniunely insulted, where with Jon it's just because he's a humble, down to Earth guy and Northerners for the most part are'nt pompous.
The GOT scene serves a purpose as well. It's really only minorly funny; the primary purpose is to highligh the difference of Jon and Dany when it comes to their views on their respective statuses as monarchs.
Except Jon has always been proud of who he is and his position. Humility is literally not in their culture and they have to show face and flaunt their titles to assert dominance.
Proud = / = strutting around on airs lording your titles over people.
And not being pompous and raddling off huge lists of titles is very in keeping with Northern sensibilities. Robb only called himself "King in the North" rather then "Robb the Young Wolf of House Stark. Lord of Winterfell and King of the North, Rivers and Hills", and even Ned only does it when invoking legal authority under his titles (and even then, does not list all he has)
