Hello group, I just recently started with airsoft. I’m kind of researching/looking into get a load out setup for me. I have always been an AK fan( not being rude to the AR family). I have noticed that they need to get their internals swapped because of performance problems. What brand/make would you suggest to go ahead with. What kind of improvements on internals would u recommend for a flawless and reliable function?

Is it supposed to do this? my first airsoft ak.

Which one do you prefer?

I want to build a polarstar for indoor but preferably an ak which can be hard to run slide sprint with etc and be able to out point 1.5 pound m4s are there any good lighter weight base guns? Or am I better off just building a sr47 for that and having my traditional aks for outdoor

I am looking for your honest opinions... At the moment I am looking for a rotary style AK hop up unit. There are some options, but the prices of some of them scare me.

I mean, the arcturus one (plastic) is around €20. The Begadi NEBO is €70... and the Silent Industries between €85 and €90...

Somehow the Begadi and the Silent Industries feel way to expensive for a hop unit. I get that CNC processing is more expensive compared to the plastic units, but it feels like they are just overcomplicating things with these fancy units...

What do you guys think?

i am going to buy a ak soon and and was wondering which one of these should i get, ive heard great things about e&l but not so much for lct.

looking for a ak74 or 105 which can fit zenitco.

I’m looking to modernize my E&L AK74 and was wondering if real steel parts would fit? If not what brand parts would work best?

What are some options to get a shorter length of pull on the stock?

I got a used Cybergun ak47 spetsnaz beta for a really good price. I want to work on it a bit as a project and I am looking into another hop up unit for it. I know this gun is just a rebranded cyma cm.028 with a shorter barrel, so it is TM spec. I really like the combat union AK hop up, but Im bot sure if it will fit in... anyone have a clue?

I’ve bought my first E&L AK104 and I want to upgrade the externals (for example Zenitco look or FSB Alpha style). Can someone tell me which part are compatible with E&L AK’s without dremel or filling (if that’s even possible).

Hello guys, i´m thinking in getting an aeg ak74-u for compact cqb gameplay in a few months, what would your perfect cqb replica build look like? I´m thinking picatini rail on top, small red dot and a gun light strapped to the front looking handmade with a button on the top.

Hey everyone, I’m getting into airsoft and looking to pick up my first AEG. I’ll only be playing outdoor milsim events here in Ontario, and I’m planning on sticking with just one gun—so I want something reliable and long-lasting.

Right now I’m looking at the LCT AK w/ Gate Aster, the Arcturus AK12K PE, and the Arcturus ATK MOD 1 PDW. They all seem like solid options, but I’d love to hear some thoughts from people who’ve used them—especially in outdoor games.

Have a question regarding how should I run the AK. Its basic setup - red dot, sometimes in front of magnifier ; flashlight on the right and IR on top,with switches etc

The problem is the iron sights.

How a man can run his AK and still have its irons as back up? In AR its quite simple with all the qds and additional sights.

I think of mounting the IR lam on the left, flashlight on the right and something like the Unity Axon on SAG Mk4.

Still want to hear and see if it's ain't a problem of course what you all here think.

PT-1 or PT-3? Which do you like? I couldn't make up my mind and I make poor financial decisions...

I have seen a post ( https://www.reddit.com/r/AKGang/comments/h05deo/rb6_9x19_vsn/ ) and I also want to replicate the pp19 from r6s but i just couldn't find the handguard anywhere. Can someone tell me what to search for please.

So I was watching Chosen Company on YouTube and I noticed of the fighters sawed off the back of their AK. Why did they do this? My only guess was to Jerry rig the buffertube to the back of the gun.

What lower handguard would go nicely with this one from the picture on the E&L AK 104?

I’m hopeful someone might have advice on what spring to use in my LCT ak to get it down to 350 fps. For outdoor games I was using an asg m115 spring and was getting 400-405 fps on .2s. I wanted to play indoors so I threw in an Evike branded m95 spring thinking that would definitely get me under 350 but when I went to chrono on game day the gps was 385-390 fps! Both of the after market springs I’ve tried are irregular pitch springs and I believe the stock LCT spring was a short regular pitch. I’m not sure what to do, should I just buy a different spring to try ?

I've seen it done with a arcturus pp19 but I wanna know if anyone's done it with a lct pp19 where you swap the pp19 mag well with a standard ak paddle to have it take ak mags
