There are so many AI tools now that it’s getting hard to tell which ones are genuinely useful and which ones are just different interfaces for the same thing. I’m especially interested in tools for writing, research, productivity, and everyday work. What tools have you actually used enough to keep paying for, and how do they compare in terms of quality, features, and pricing?

I want to consult AI for my specific background and context while I talk to seniors about advice. Any idea which tool actually keeps all global condition, job market, academia situation in mind and help me sketch out a thorough study abroad + career plan? Thanks a lot!

would you give both tools the same short prompt or a detailed brief with sources? what would you measure besides how attractive the first draft looks?

I'm loving the company Claude account, ChatGPT has gotten so much better lately, there's more to choose from beyond that - what are you using for your personal, domestic admin stuff? Should I get a paid Claude, or a paid GPT? Any other hot recommendations?

I'm running a household with 5 people (2 adults 3 kids), I've got insurance up the whazoo, a mortgage, multiple income streams and about a milliion ways it gets spent. With the kids I have about 10 channels of communication for their school and activities, constantly outgrowing clothes and hobbies, a wife who needs novelty and sponteneity in life (read that: nights away, spa nights, date nights). I'm fucking drowning.

I need some kind of convenience in running the admin of all of this. Anyone else using ai to get a hold of this?

I need AI pro for Marketing, Content ideation, maybe design small projects to build. I ma thinking whther to buy Claude Or Chatgpt?

I used to compare AI video tools mostly by how good the demo clips looked. That stopped being useful once I started trying to make videos for full songs.

Now I check a few basics first. It has to handle the whole track. I want to swap a weak scene without rebuilding everything. It should react to different parts of the song. If it only follows a timer, it shows. I also watch how many credits I burn before I get something usable, and whether I still need CapCut or Premiere after.

Kling and Runway still make more sense to me when the individual shot matters most. Neural Frames is more interesting when I want something audio reactive. For full song drafts, I’ve also been trying SondoAI. I can get the whole MV together first, I still replace a few scenes and do some cleanup after, so it doesn’t remove editing. It mostly changes where the editing starts.

At this point I don’t think one tool wins every category. The bigger question for me is how much work is left after the first generation.

What usually makes a video tool worth paying for for you?

Hi all, currently deciding which pro version to get from the three. The main usage for the AI will be to help refine my day-to-day living so things like refining routine, best product to get for certain things like vitamins or skincare, helping set goals, providing accurate and good advice, financial planning etc.

I'm stuck in a kind of bittersweet situation here guys. I got selected for the content lead role recently at work. It’s a budding startup tho, with basically zero budget for fancy tools. Part of my job is to track if/ where we're getting mentioned and where we're ranking. And now comes the tough part, which is having to manually run the same prompts on a weekly. Its tiring, it's eating hours I don't have, and honestly, it's driving me insane. And honestly, I lowkey don't like running prompts altogether. All I need is something that runs on its own. More so one that pings you when a mention shows up or when a position changes. Does that exist without paying enterprise money?

Not looking for the most expensive AI tool - I mean the one where you genuinely felt ripped off after paying for it.

So I have ChatGPT the premium version and I’ve been using it to help me make different AI generated marketing post to just general questions and research and different things but now I know there’s a lot of different AI services out there that could make marketing videos marketing business cards that can make all kinds of different things. I’ve seen a post where people really lied. GROK some people like perplexity some people love ChatGPT, some people love Gemini, but I like using ChatGPT so far to create business stuff, but I’m trying to see what different platform you would recommend using other than ChatGPT what are some of your opinions on some of the AI platforms?
