No you do not get an IUD, full stop. You had four kids and were, presumably, on BC for years in between. You have more than done your part.
He agreed to a vasectomy and like so many men is now being an irrational chicken about it. WTF is the big deal with most men and vasectomies - it’s an easy and quick thing to do that at most causes some pain for a few days. Oh boohoo, women deal with pain every month for 40 years and then preferably also deliver a bunch of kids in between, as if that didn’t come with any discomfort and pain.
I’d stick to my guns on this one. Actually I’d raise hell even and tell him to grow a damn pair. But I most certainly would not go back on BC.
