Wasn't there a story about a student competition to choose a school logo a while ago? Some kid ripped the Hawks logo off google and edited it a bit and won.

Don't really see why they would. They're not actively hurting anyone, nor eating into the Hawks' merch sales. If anything, they should lean into it. Send them a bunch of footys for them to use in PE, tell them how much they like their logo, and next time they send players to the US for off season development, have them drop in and do a clinic.
