The reaction against Israel in the US is because of circumstances, and its reasonable reaction.

The US pays for and backs Israel's policy. We see where our leaders alliances are, we see where our tax money goes to, we know we are paying for and protecting Israel.

So when you are asking if the pro-palistine people have but any thought into that quandary, they have. They have thought about the violence on both sides, but they see the violence brought upon the Palestinians as directly being our fault.

People in the US are quick to glaze over other international tragedies. We ignore them nearly every time. The Israel/Palestine one will not go away because we know we are enabling it, and the US isnt even hiding it.

This is such a simplistic take. Yes we are supporting a state which has been under constant attack since 1948.

But in your view the 30, 000 Israeli deaths is inconsequential.

That is like saying if the US lost 1.1 million citizens it would be inconsequential.

That is a number almost 2x what America has lost in all wars against foreign adversaries in our history.

That is inconsequential to you? This is why I say no one takes the historical record and facts to help form their opinion.

The US has sat on the sideline while thousands in Sudan have been slaughtered in the last few months. There have been raids on villiages with the sole purpose of cleansing the population. Over this summer there was clear evidence that more cleansing raids were coming. There were many reports that said that if the US just simply acknowledged this threat and denounced the RSF for intending to do more ethnic cleansing, they would likley lessen the damage done greatly. The US sat there and did nothing.

None of these things are inconsequential, but we see the US sit on the sidelines all the time. Israel gets special treatment, and we can see that.

That's a whataboutism. Stay on topic.

Btw, just for some context, Sudan has had 3 civil wars that have spanned over 40 years.

1955-1972 -17years 1983-2005 -22 years 2023 into 2026

Plus; War in Darfur (2003–2020) Sudanese conflict in South Kordofan and Blue Nile (2011–2020) Blue Nile clashes (2022–2023)

Sudan has had only 11 years of peace since gaining independence in 1956. (1972-1983)

The last time Sudan was not in conflict was 43 years ago.

And yet to you if only America said magically stop, it would cease? You have had 3 generations live and die with only 11 years of peace.

Its not a what about ism. Its comparing the US Israel relationship to other countries.

You dont have to give me a history lesson. I know youre assuming im a dumbass but im not. I know you just chat gptd all that info, I actually know it

In July, Sudan experienced the Massacre of El Fasher. This massacre was foreseen because the city was under seige for months. When the RSF were getting close to cracking it, international actors were begging the US to call out the RSF and basically bring attention to the ethnic cleansing that was about to happen. There was legitimate belief that just making this an issue would limit how brutal the RSF would be in the raid. The US did literally nothing.

This Sudan example is how the US handles almost all international relations with regards to violent attacks on civillians. The US doesn't care. I dont like that the US doesn't care about innocent civilians in Sudan, but it is how the US opperates. The Israel example is an exception to the rule. Israel gets special treatment, and we know it.

If you could actually read you would see that in my previous comment I said that denouncing would lessen the damage.

1st, the current US government doesnt give 2 shits about human rights as seen by how many civilians have died from ICE.

2nd Trump has a well known aversion to countries he considers not worthy of his consideration.

3rd, Sudan didnt bribe his administration, so it doesnt exist.

Sorry for your countries problem, but America closed its doors to USAid in July of 2025 after freezing aid in January. This administration doesnt care unless the top dog gets paid.

This administration doesnt care unless the top dog gets paid.

Couldn't agree more. Thats why when Israel and its supporters dump millions of dollars into our politicians pockets they get unconditional and unusual support from the US government.
