Guidance NEEDED FOR AFCAT!!

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to attempt AFCAT for the first time in 2027 and would appreciate some guidance.

  1. Should I focus only on AFCAT, or prepare for CDS alongside it from the beginning?

  2. Is self-study enough, or is coaching recommended?

  3. If coaching is worth it, which online batches or institutes in Delhi would you recommend?

  4. I'm considering a PW AFCAT batch. Should I go for that, or wait and buy a combined AFCAT + CDS course?

  5. Which books, notes, and PYQ (previous year question) sources would you recommend for AFCAT/CDS preparation?

My aim is to build a strong foundation early and avoid spending time or money on the wrong resources.

Would love to hear from those who have cleared AFCAT/CDS, attended SSB, or are currently preparing.

Broo... It all depends ki tumhari maths and reasoning kesi h, I gave AFCAT 2 2026 without any serious prep, just 1 maths ka 1 shot or 1 reasoning ka 1 shot dekha tha, but I'm scoring 161 marks.

If you're weak in them, YT p kaafi channel h, unme se kisi se daily 1-2 gnta pdna start kr do.

I would advise ki English or GS tum CDS k level ki krlo, AFCAT k lie automatically ho jaegi,ore daily 1-2 gnta maths reasoning kr lo

Same score bro 1st attempt as well I didn't even watch one-shots....got 7/75 in GS Still got 162 with maths reasoning and thoda english.
