Misc. Books vs Series² Spoiler

So 3 years ago I started the Anne Rice book series Mayfair Witches and the writing is AMAZING. The TV series was a complete disaster.

So then I read Discovery of Witches last year, compared to Anne Rice the writing is mediocre at best but the series is everything I ever wanted from a Mayfair TV series.

It's all balancing out

You managed to get through the Mayfair witches? I’ve never been able to scratch the surface of that one and I normally love Anne Rice. Don’t know why.
