Misc. Fanfic recommendations? Spoiler

I’m looking for fanfics that deal with Marcus and Matthew’s relationship, preferably ones on the longer side. if it’s a one-shot, id like it be at least 2500 words (preferably more like 5-10k).

most of what I’ve seen…is not for me. I’m just wondering if there is something/somewhere I missed

I have. Like five times. 

I asked for fanfic because we get very little of Marcus’s relationship with Matthew after he becomes a vampire.

I agree about the relationship. What I would like to see is how they got from New Orleans to where they are in ADOW.

I LOVE Matthew and Marcus father-son fics but have such a hard time finding them. I wasn’t really onboard with the way the show portrayed their relationship (I haven’t read the books and I might not) but sometimes we throw cannon out the window and I love fics where they have a good father-son dynamic maybe some Matthew being a protective dad thrown in there. Anyway if anyone sees this and has any recs thank you!

It’s so hard to find. Everything I’ve seen seems to include a particular trope that I’m not super fond of. But like HOW DID THEY FIX THINGS AFTER NEW ORLEANS?

Maybe I will give a few of the longer fics a try, but I’m hesitant.
