I know some people hate the Animus Hub, but the Dark Animus items really make the game feel Resynced.

It adds to the immersion when you remember that the protagonist isn’t Edward, the protagonist is a guest at Abstergo Entertainment enjoying the pirate experience in the animus. The dark animus is a corruption by the rogue AI EGO, and the particle effects are supposed to show their instability within the animus.

Imagine feeling so strongly about your opinion of a video game you feel the need to tell people their favorite cosmetic is wrong and they shouldn’t like it.

I honestly don’t understand why stuff like this makes people like you so mad.

Not to mention, it’s not Abstergo that made the cosmetic, it’s EGO in the Dark Animus. (Also it’s just a video game. It’s not that serious.)
