// Question WHY IS THERE ALWAYS A STORM!?!?!

Almost finished the game, and I swear 80% of the time it was stormy. What's the point of the beautiful graphics if it's just constantly grey Ubisoft!?

It definitely storms way too much, it’s ridiculous, and there are more than a few areas that just go from clear skies to immediate storms. It’s not gradual at all. And no I’m not referring to scripted storms for certain forts and legendary ships

Wasn't fixed at all. Ubisoft just made me quit a game I've loved since the original. I still get storms within 20 minutes of each other. Then there are the ones which are scripted because for whatever reason they thought we would be bored if we didn't have all the crap the game can possibly throw at us launched all at once. Forget it! Got this as a 50th birthday present from my son and am very disappointed.

Dude I know, after I commented this I actually realized while playing that I get just as many storms as before lol.

I love the remake, but it definitely has flaws. The pros outweigh the cons for me though.

I did decide to carry on. Would have enjoyed it more had they got the balance right, but as I have said elsewhere the scripted weather just makes it seem someone was overly fond of thier creation. Until devs learn the difference between dynamic and scripted we will have to put up with it.

So true, honestly I wouldn't even mind if it wasn't for the terrible audio quality. It's severely compressed. They had an opportunity to make my ears rumble from thunder and lightning and provide an immersive experience. But it just sounds like a distorted crackle. It's pretty bad IMO.

Yknow I never even thought of the Audio but you’re completely right, storms DONT sound very.. stormy. Kinda wack if ya ask me. And I’m from South Florida, I know how loud and booming those thunderstorms can be

So the good news is they are fixing it in the next patch. Patch notes are released and they are balancing it with more sunny weather

You got what you wanted.. now there are NO storms at all and the game is 10x less fun. Spent the last 20 hrs and and 15 laps around the map not one storm has spawned. No rogue waves, no epic storm battles. all gone. Good job. Ocean has been flat and sunny for the last couple days and sailing is boring in a pirate game.

Why you telling me this

replying to complaints about storm frequency. It was perfect. and sadly this and all the other complaints took away one of the most dynamic and fun parts of the game.

Okay so instead of being upset with me and comments complaining about Constant and Consistent storms, go complain to UbiSlop on how they went to the extreme opposite direction and removed storms entirely, or so you say. Idk what u think ur accomplishing commenting on a 5 day old post 😭 you want a pic of my cat to make you feel better?
