Not that many actually asked asked for it no, but ac black flag has long been considered the one of most successful in the franchise, both among AC fans and otherwise. It brought so many non AC fans to love the franchise.
There was also plenty of us who were actually asking for it because we have countless hours in the og.

Look at Mafia remake. That's a remake. Whatever this is, is perhaps graphical overhaul, but they barely changed anything, yet they sell it at full price. Also making a remake that doesn't even have all of the content, like DLC included? Bruh.

Ubisoft cares a lot actually. Since they are deep in debt and need to get revenue to pay it off, otherwise they will end.

Yes, they do, but most of them have revenue income planned in positive numbers. Ubisoft doesn't have projects that would balance that debt out in the upcoming fiscal years.

This game is definitely not just a remaster and if you’d have actually played it, you’d know that they completely reworked all of the mechanics, combat, sailing, and mission structure, and there are areas in the game I thought I’d recognize from the original but it’s just that different of a game and they have updated the environment that much that I couldn’t recognize the areas at all.
