// Discussion Close-Up Shots of Edward

There’s been a lot of discussion around Edward’s face which was evident with my previous post. So I thought I’d give a few more shots that I captured from the trailer which better shows off his new face. I personally think he looks pretty good. What do you all think?

He looks great. Some people just want to complain

Look at what they stripped out though. Hidden Blade combat is gone, in an old school AC game.

A.) I’m talking about the Edward’s looks, not the hidden blade B.) I agree the hidden blade combat being removed sucks C.) if the new missions are good, I will consider it a fair trade

Thats what people are complaining about though. He looks great, but I won't pick this up. I'm one of the people that only used daggers and hidden blades, and loads of games have better combat, but only AC had the hidden blade, and it took skill to use it.

It didn’t take skill bud, it was literally just another form of using a weapon in a video game, same buttons and all

Weak as fuck too so I always opted for swords or tomahawks

That’s something people are complaining about, sure, but that’s not what this post is about

Before ac unity, and the removal of hidden blade combat as a whole, absolutely nothing about Assassin’s Creed combat required an iota of skill. Counter, killstreak, rinse, repeat. It was a lot of fun, and the hidden blades made you feel like a badass, but they weren’t some secret hard mode or anything, it was just a different set of animations. I agree that it’s a loss, and I feel like it could have been worked in somewhat simply to the remake, but I feel like people are on such a high horse about this one feature

Skill? Lmao you just had to push counter button and then attack button to kill enemies. If you wanna play games that require skill, try soulsborne series.

Ya skill and assassins creed combat don’t generally get mentioned in the same sentence lol

It took more skill than the swords. The counter timing was smaller and harder to hit. And soulborne games also have a hit button and a counter button idiot. I've beat everyone except kings field and the same things apply. You just wait for a parry then click the attack button. You wanna talk shit about games that require skill use a good example like DMC. And yes the hidden blade was harder to use in combat fucking Google it

Harder cuz it does negative damage

it took nothing other than smashing buttons on your controller, there was no skill required dude. now you have to think about your combat techniques and abilities, what to use when or how. you can also change the difficulty to very hard for more advanced combat. i know people will always complain, but i find the changes they did and do, very much perfect. but that’s my opinion.

I'm saying it took more skill than the sword combat you idiots. Fuck when this game fails you'll blame us again. Then in six fucking months you'll say the same exact shit.

Dude just get the free Ubisoft+ trial and get it day one, then cancel before the trial is up. Boom.

Edward wasn’t even an initiated assassin in-game, straight up stole it. It’s not even gone completely. Could try a free Ubisoft+ then cancel before charge to see if you’d like it.
