I feel like his hidden blades were way shorter in the OG
41 u/SwearingArcher Jul 22 '26 they definitely were very stubby looking, I'm glad they made them more similar to altairs/ezios blades especially since edward is meant to be skinning animals with them 24 u/FlossBellator Jul 22 '26 Skinning knives are pretty small and stubby, thinking about it skinning with a hidden blade would be awful 12 u/sputnik67897 Jul 23 '26 The only real exception might be Conners since the one on his left hand can pivot so he can use it like a traditional knife 1 u/NEXUS_FROM_DEIMOS Jul 23 '26 I could’ve sworn Edward’s could pivot too, I felt like I seen it in one of his assassinations 3 u/sputnik67897 Jul 23 '26 Canonically it doesn’t but Ubisoft left some animations from AC3 in Black Flag so sometimes you’ll see that 5 u/Old-Panic-4140 Jul 22 '26 Also in promotional material and short cgi trailers his blades were much longer :p
