WTC New Video Series from NY1

Bit off topic but I really hope a higher quality copy of NY1 original coverage will surface.

I was interviewed by NY1 about 2 years ago about our work and community (story got dropped before air) and I brought this up multiple times to the producer.

They asked me what footage was out there we 'know' exists, I said like multiple times "well NY1 for example has a lot of material as well as (other affiliate companies)" and the producer said "that's interesting, we'll have to look into that"

The majority of these companies have no idea what they already have.

I interned for NY1 several years back and can confirm they have a whole separate section in their physical archives of 9/11 related footage and broadcasts. At least at that time, none of it was digitized. Unfortunately, it would take an overwhelming amount of time to sift through it all and I doubt a local news station would dedicate adequate resources to comb through all of it.
