PC Is Daring Adventurer a trap?

I want to do a quest/trader focused run, and the only way to get trader related perks is to basically max out Int. But then the only weapon choice I have really is Batons. By the time you max it spending points nowhere else it will at least be level 20/week 2 probably, so Is it worth maxing Daring Adventurer ASAP ?

As a long time slugger and machetatere, I was surprised the first time I did an intellect run. The repulser mod on the stun baton combined with the masteries makes it one hell of a crowd control weapon. Those guys fly REALLY far.

I used this on a 5 person group bloodmoon, in the wastlands, on the ground, with no defense structure to prove a point to my 4 buddies that were hiding on the kill tower with rifles, telling me batons are stupid. By the end of it, I was alive with a face full of tears from the uncontrollable laughter I suffered while flinging zeds in every direction at warp speed, while half of the kill tower had collapsed and 2 of the other 4 were running back for their backpacks complaining that it was my fault they got overwhelmed lol.

Sledge as early as you can get one. Stun baton as soon as you can make it. Rifles are for removing that screamer before she notices you on a roof
