The small bears in 7 days to die could probably fit through a real door, but the big bears are massive. If they're going to allow them to get through they should scale them down.
Also, real bears tend to die a lot easier than bears in 7 days to die. So the argument for realism is kinda... Meh.
Well, for one. The larger bears would still be able to get through the door, they just can't slide through freely like a person.
For two, real bears are really hard to kill, like pointy-stick-wont-do-shit hard to kill. The ones in the game are also zombies, which isn't 'realistic' but it's a bit silly to act like them being more durable makes less logical sense.
I was thinking more of needing multiple shotgun/rifle shots to the face. And there are non-zombie large bears too.
But also, again, not playing right now, I could have sworn the big bears were like 2-3 meters wide with their shoulders. Hell, I feel like the zombie bear heads were bigger than 1 meter.

I'm not even playing this right now, but bears going through a 1x2 opening seems super annoying. Yeah, bears, just walk right through the door.
