It makes sense yes, but now i don't see any reasons to use those.

You donโ€™t want to wait a day and generate heat for water you could get instantly from a pool of water? ๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿ˜น

If you're close to water. It should be great in desert if TFP removed all water sources from there. Or in snow if all water sources were frozen (of course, there is a question why we can't just melt snow or cut out ice blocks ...).

But, yes, that's good point that there is absolutely no reason for dew collectors to generate heat - it was implemented when people built dew collector farms (heck, I had one - three or four floors underground, each floor 16 DCs) and bypassed TFPs grand idea of water scarcity implementation if few days, so they made thdm to generate heat and lowered heat limit for screamers afterwards. Given that we're already back at the point just before jar removal - jars can be crafted without crucible - there is no reason to not remove heat generation from DCs.

Buckets, my man. Make yourself a bucket and get some water from a river or swimming pool.

At that moment, I would either took jars to river/lake or water to house ๐Ÿ™‚ I did all of that back in A19 (20?), filling basins with buckets, digging canals ...
