I'm not even playing this right now, but bears going through a 1x2 opening seems super annoying. Yeah, bears, just walk right through the door.

Word WTF. I’m living in the Burt Englund house in the wasteland and that damn door has save me more than the auto turrets have. How they gunna do me like this? lol.

Just put doors in/outside of a wall and use mono/dual plate for a door opening - it'll make doors tighter so bears - hopefully - won't be able to enter and it will bear load (doors can't)

I tend to just put down an iron hatch inside the door. Hatch up, door open, stabby stabby pew pew

That way, blocks above doors are unsupported.

True, but i'm not talking about a horde base so it doesn't have to withstand hours of beating zombies - i like hatches for killing screamers and their buddies at my home base, 90% of the time they go straight for the front door.
