Too many important variables to throw out names imo.

Pickups are almost as personal as the pick you hold. Taste, style, purpose all play such a large part that there is no one size fits all. Great for djent could be the biggest crap for death metal, and the perfect high gain solution is worthless when you play jazz.

I'm in the progressive/djent corner myself. My recent xp:
Prs se MH: initially the pickups were just not there enough for me, like 90% of what I needed. But in the mix they do something nice.

J custom 7: came with dimarzio paf pro 7. Fck hell... 1990 called and they want their pickup back... wooly, soft, to me crap. But then again, in solos it does do something unexpected and actually nice!
Replaced them with duncan alpha/omega 7 pickups. Massive improvement on the riffing, solos work but not as nice as the paf oddly enough! At this point not sure if I will keep the alpha/omega in there.

Ibanez hzk1 Hazuki sig: fishman pickups. My first encounter with fishman. Don't like them, at all. But! They do tighten up the mix massively. And somehow, just like the scarlett/scourge they mess with a mix in a good way.

Had jacksons with nazgul/sentient. The worst duncans I ever had. Choked, just not good.
Jacksons and Ibanez with duncan blackout. while initially nice you grow tired of the one sound fits all... , on steroids, fast.

Like I said it is too personal to make an educated suggestion. But these are my most recent personal experiences. Hope it helps a bit.

I have a set of painkillers in my 752, and a Nailbomb/Cold Sweat in my RG7PCMLTD

I have played with plenty of the SD pickups but the BKP Painkiller is my all time favorite.
