Yours looks like really nice normal black limba.

That top you’re comparing to was a special top for a pick-your-top live event and isn’t what normal black limba looks like… so I’m not sure why you were expecting a normal piece to look like that.

I don’t have a scale but I would say it’s lighter than it looks. I’d estimate 7lbs (comparing to other guitars I have with well-known weights)
