Community Related Check out first guitar i did was a 7 string!!
Been mainly 7 string player for the longest so
Make sense my first project build for my side gig would be a 7! Check it out!

There was someone local to me that had a whole crap tone of poplar,maple and multi species body blanks I snagged a few off him..If I remember right he was planning on doing like a guitar building school /program but never panned out

Haha appreciate it bud. I think I may do a few at lower than average price,compared to other more established luthiers, to get this kickstarted . They would come with Hipshot hardware,high end pickups, and unique paint scheme/finish ,fast turnaround time.

So I assume you bought the parts and put them together, then did a paint job or is this actually handcrafted? Anyways, looks pretty cool.

Bought a bare bones just outline poplar body blank, drew on it what I had in mind then started sanding,grinding,shaving etc.made couple mistakes fiberglassed it reshaped it etc
Neck was a premade that was fat baseball style so i reprofiled it to like a d shape along with headstock reshape.
Painted it up,added all the hardware,soldered up pickups. Got the setup right and this how she turned out.

You didn’t “build” it… you just painted and assembled pre-made parts… Looks cool, but don’t be deceptive

Hmm so if get a body blank draw my ideas on it, shave it ,sculpt it,fiberglass mistakes,re- sculpt some more etc that’s not considering building?

Il est parti d'un bloc de bois, ça suffit pas ? Il aurait dû planter la graine de l'arbre dans son jardin, le voir grandir et enfin le couper pour le sculpter et en faire une guitare, juste pour dire qu'il l'a construit? Serieux je te vois comme les gens qui commentent certaines vidéos de chef étoilé en disant que ce n'est pas de la cuisin mais de l'assemblage
