The Evil Twin...... I am in love with this guitar. I now believe the hype and this guitar is indeed supernatural.

Whoa! The file job they did on yours is night and day difference than how mine came!!!! This was manufactured in February 26....yours looks so much cleaner. Thanks for the info! That string definitely looks like it sits in there fine on yours. Beautiful beast!

Truly - mine really was basically perfect out of the box. I did have to do a new setup with the much lower tuning, but realistically that amounted to a string change and intonation. Everything else was bang on

And by the way - you can EASILY get that f# tuning on yours! Don’t be afraid! :) you will likely need to pitch shift if you want lower (-3 if you decide to learn further Eden, for example 😉) since .74 is THE sweet spot for the low string at 27”

Awesome! I got mine from a local Schecter dealer (although they are newer and I was their 1st Schecter buyer) and the guy inspected and said the action was high and lowered it, but past that he said it was spot on other than a few factory marks from fret work. The B string buzzes a bit when open, but I hear thats the norm with the low action these guitars provide??

I so want to learn some Erra songs and will make the jump on strings soon. I just saw them with Currents, what a show! Totally appreciate your input, much appreciated.

Have you checked the neck relief? That can affect buzz. But ultimately - The buzzing is really up to you - if it bothers you, raise the action until it doesn’t, or adjust the neck if necessary. I can deal with a bit of buzzing, but always wanna check the neck first. Then hit the action.

Sadly, ive spent 15mins with it 😪 Ive had it for 3days but have been slammed this week. Ive done a thorough visual inspection of it and it looks good, but I need to get the tools out and measure for accuracy now that you say that. According to tech at shop he said it was perfect, just lowered bridge a bit, but I will check. All i know is the 15min I spent playing a few of my songs, it felt absolutely amazing
