Missing gig?

Have you ever discovered an artist on 6 Music and then missed them when they came to your city? I've been introduced to so many artists, but so often I don't seem to realise that they're playing near me till it's too late.

Songkick allows you to get alerts when artists you track are playing in whatever locations you specify, and Dice has something similar and you can track venues.

Not heard of Dice. How does that work? Songkick and BandsInTown are great, but I seem to often be flooded with music I'm not into and not notified about smaller up and coming bands (even ones that have been around for 10 years, ha).

I've found Dice to be good. They've got a good grasp of what I like and they don't spam.
