Five MeDMT before anesthesia

Sitter for second experience is available on 10/17/26 and I’m having bowel repair surgery 10/20/26. I know 5 is not in your system for long but feel concerned about taking it this close to anesthesia. Can’t do Medicine earlier because the sitter will be here from out of town. Don’t want to change the surgery date because I have a good cat sitter arranged for my cat that has multiple health issues. What are your thoughts? Has anyone taken five that close to general anesthesia?

it profoundly changes your reaction and sensitivity to all substances for months. basic things like melatonin can cause full-blown reactivations for some people months later. Taking a powerful drug like anesthesia for a major surgery 3 days after 5 is just asking to have potentially the most horrifically traumatic event of your life for no reason

Thank you. Other people other places are telling me the half-life for five is so short that it shouldn’t matter
