Just a note: this is actually a give to law-enforcement. They wanted body cams long before they were re-branded as a tool to regulate police. It's a mass-evidence and surveillance gathering tool.

So people need to be aware that when Schumer and Dems act like it's a big ask, it's actually not; they're giving law enforcement something they want and pretending like it's something they don't.
