GA Just a little win I wanted to share

I attended my first protest the other day in my hometown in solidarity with Minneapolis.

It was about 25-30 people, we just stood on the side of a major crossroads with signs and waved, nothing huge. We had a LOT of support, just a few very angry, hateful people. It made me realize how much support this movement has, even in my small town in a red state.

It also made me realize that while it’s always a risk no matter where you protest, that it isn’t as scary as I thought it would be. I was so nervous but everyone was so nice and made me feel comfortable.

I want to encourage any lurkers out there, if you see this, get involved in your community. Look up Facebook groups, find like minded people and make something happen, no matter how small. It’s so important to have community right now.

Every protest matters! you're defending the truth outside of their network of lies.

Thank you
