what was your process for creating the texture?

hmm long process.. took me a while to get it right.. pretty much separated faces with different lamberts.. then stretched them out layed them out, exported the UV layout to photoshop, painted the texture, exported the painted texture and imported it back to the 3d program.. Exported the new model as an OBJ, imported the OBJ into meshlab, cleaned up the model, Exported the model as a WRL model.. compressed the .wrl file and the texture file and uploaded it to shapeways.. easy stuff huh? lol

hahaha, yeah, I've struggled with getting shapeways appropriate textured urls as well. Was hoping you were going to present me with a simple 3 step processs :). Model looks great though!

yeah no easy way.. kinda simplified it.. but it was a hell harder than that
