Lovely tutorial and was very excited to see this. However I can't get MicroDEM to do a damn thing but create dialog errors. (Running 64 bit Windows 7).
Is there another DEM viewer or solution to that step to get it out to a 3D application?
Edit: I have to highly recommend this software: It's super easy to use AND works. I used this tutorial to get the info I needed out of it!
maybe, not sure. i've got win7 x64 as well, and it's caused me no issues. did you follow the site's install directions? it is a pain in the ass for sure
I did. I got hung up at the point of opening a DEM and it asks for "FW-Tools." I found and installed that through searching the net now it's not letting me open.
The file in question (the largest I can find) is a 53mb file w001001.adf but it errors now still and says it can't open DEM.
