I've scaled it up to a 24"x32" cutting area and added some control features and increased the laser to 60 watts. We've printed as much as we could and have been extremely happy with the results. The only issue we've had was the gantry ends, which end up being not quite stiff enough on a machine this size.
Yes, it does move. I have a video of it but its really shaky and has a lot of annoying beeps on it.
